Acrylic mirrors are now being used as a popular alternative to glass. Acrylic mirror is shatterproof unlike glass, it is approx 10 times lighter than glass of the same thickness and it is also very cost effective, compared to glass. All our acrylic mirrors are cut using the lastest laser cutting techniques, which ensure that all the edges are polished and smooth. All our acrylic mirrors come with high adhesive sticky pads which allow you to mount the mirrors to almost any flat surface. We do recommend that you allow freshly painted walls a couple of weeks to cure before mounting the mirrors.
Your acrylic mirror will arrive with a protective film covering on the front, you can mount the mirror in the correct location then carefully pick the film up on one edge and remove in one piece.
When cleaning acrylic mirror or acrylic of any type, it is important to make sure you do not use any chemicals or solvents as this can cause the acrylic to 'craze' and will damage your mirror. We recommend that you use a soft dry cloth for dusting, if you need to clean the mirror further, then use a soft cloth with mild soapy water.
If you intend to mount you mirror in the bathroom or other high humidity area you may like to consider using a silicone or mirror adhesive to mount the mirror.
What is Acrylic Mirror?

Other applications for acrylic mirror include use in horse boxes, stables, around the home and even in the garden. Acrylic mirror has 17 times the strength of glass of the same thickness and is manufactured with a tough rear coating which helps protect against scuffs and scratched during fabrications and in use.
Mirrored acrylic is available in standard silver as well as a range of coloured tints such as Gold, Bronze, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple.
