General Terms
These terms and conditions apply to all customers/visitors, and form the basis of every agreement made between us Displays N Frames (GJ Plastics Ltd) and you (the client). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully because they form a contract between GJ Plastics Ltd and our clients.
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time and supersede all previous terms and conditions published on this site.
We reserve the right to refuse to print any images if these terms and conditions are not agreed to online. For instructions on how to agree these terms and conditions please contact us.
By submitting an image to us either via email, on disc or any other file transfer service and then making payment either online through our website, or separately by cheque, cash or bank transfer, you are confirming that you agree these terms and conditions in full.
We reserve the right to refuse any future services to any client that breaches our terms and conditions and or who are abusive or rude to our employees.
In these conditions:
‘The company’ means Displays N Frames (GJ Plastics LTD)
‘The goods’ and ‘the service’ means the articles or things or any of them described in the Contract.
‘The customer’ means the person, firm or Company ordering the goods and or / services.
‘the order’ includes not only any Order made on the Company’s official order form but any Order made by the Customer in any other form whatsoever the Company may in its absolute discretion choose to accept.
‘Company’s Premises’ means the Premises mentioned in the Company’s quotation or other contractual document or if not so mentioned means the Company’s premises at Bury.
‘The Contract’ means any contract for the sale or supply of goods or services by the Company to the Customer.
Existence of Contract
These conditions alone constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior dealings, negotiations, representations, agreements or understandings whether written or oral, expressed or implied. No variation or addition to these conditions shall be effective unless in writing signed by an authorised representative of the Company.
These conditions shall apply to all contracts made by or with the Company unless varied in writing signed by an authorised representative of the Company. These conditions shall be incorporated in the Contract to the exclusion of any terms or conditions stipulated or referred to by the customer.
Any order by the customer shall constitute acceptance of these conditions.
Specifications
Illustrations and date in catalogues, brochures, and price lists and advertising matter are only an indication of the type of goods or services offered and no prices or other particulars contained therein shall be binding on the Company.
The Company reserves the right to make such alterations in construction, design, operating parameters, materials and packaging as the Company considers desirable without prior notice.
The customer warrants that they have not relied upon the skill or judgement of the Company in the selection of the goods or services as to their fitness for any particular purpose.
Confidentiality
Any of the Company specifications, plans, drawings, know how or other confidential information whether of a technical or commercial nature which may be passed or come into the possession of the Customer shall not be used by the Customer other than for the purpose of the Contract and shall not be disclosed to any other person, firm or Company whatsoever. Further such specifications, plans, drawings or documents and any reproductions thereof by the Customer other than for the purpose of the contract and shall not be disclosed to any other person, firm or company whatsoever. Further such specifications, plans, drawings or documents descriptions and other information submitted by the Company together with the copyright therein shall be returned to the Company on demand. All specifications, plans, drawings, documents descriptions and other information submitted by the Company shall remain the Company’s property together with the copyright therein.
Design and Industrial Copyright
Where the goods are made or material supplied to the customers own specifications, pattern or design the customer warrants or undertakes full responsibility for the suitability and likeness of the specification, pattern for design thereof and also warrants that any drawings, designs technical data furnished or given by the customer shall not be such as to cause the Company to infringe any letters patent, registered designs, trademarks or other rights belonging to third parties.
Prices
Any prices quoted are valid for only 30 days from the date of the quotation, thereafter the Company may alter the price without prior notice to the customer and any order received by the Company after such date shall be governed by the price ruling at the date of receipt of the order.
The Company further reserves the right to alter the price quoted to take account of the increases in costs including labour, overheads, transportation, raw materials and / or the fluctuation of exchange rates between the quotation date and the date of delivery of the goods.
Unless expressly stated to the contrary any price quoted does not include carriage costs, value added tax or any other tax to which the transaction may be subject.
The contract price does not include the cost of packaging of goods or materials.
Quotations do not include graphic design, artwork preparation to print, scans, prints, delivery or installation unless specifically stated. All artwork quotations are valid for 30 days from issue and are subject to view of customer's originals, disks, artwork, and detailed instructions. The company reserves the right to alter the price and terms of the quotation if, upon inspection of the clients order, they differ significantly from the specification or timescales understood by the company when the quotation was given. Prints are quoted for direct output only from client’s print ready file. Any design/art working/proofing time required is charged at £45.00 per hour + VAT.

Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our website, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit and debit card payment. Payment can be made by Cheque or by Bank Transfer, please call or email for further details. If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom please contact us for further details.
Because our products are manufactured and printed to your order requirements, we require cleared payment prior to manufacture and printing.
You will receive a confirmation of order email; this is to indicate that we have received your order.
We reserve the right not to reproduce any images which are offensive or contain inappropriate content. As a security measure we reserve the right to record the IP address of the computer used to upload any image to our site. If any illegal or pornographic images are uploaded to our site, we will inform the relevant authorities and provide any details we hold.
In submitting the image to us, the customer confirms that they own the rights to the image or have obtained written permission to use the image for reproduction purposes. All copyright and intellectual property rights are retained by the customer on any image submitted to us.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to indemnify us and our employees and company against any action, claim, damages, liability, costs and expenses arising out of any claim with regard to infringement of a third parties copyright, intellectual property rights, or trade mark, due to the reproduction or processing of any image by us on behalf of you the customer.
We reserve the right to contact you via telephone or email should we have any questions about your image prior to manufacture and or printing. We also reserve the right to make a judgement as to whether the image supplied to us is of sufficient quality to print at the size requested by the client. If the image is too small you will be informed and you will be asked to supply an alternative larger scale version of the image, or we will arrange a refund if this is unavailable.
Turnaround Times
Our standard turnaround times vary depending on the product ordered and on how busy we are at the time of order. In general our turnaround times are approx 3-5 working days, some products may have lead times up to 10 working days, however if there are problems beyond our control, such as missing images or poor quality images, we reserve the right to extend the turnaround time. If your order is urgent please contact us as we can often work to your requirements.
Fixing Prints to Your Wall
Many of our larger prints can be very heavy; care should be taken when lifting them and when selecting the place to hang them. We use high quality wall photo fixings on all our wall mountable products; this ensures that your prints will be securely fixed if mounted correctly.
Ensure that you use suitable weight bearing fixings for the type of wall that you intend to hang the print onto. Seek advice from a professional tradesperson should you be unsure of the type of wall fixing you need.
The company accepts no responsibility for damage to the product or print or any third party property or persons, caused by insufficient fixings used to hang your print.
Product Descriptions
We attempt to describe the products offered on the website as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of the website are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. If a product offered by us and purchased by you is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition for a refund or credit.
VAT
All orders are subject to UK VAT which currently stands at 20%. A full VAT invoice will be emailed or posted to you on completion and delivery of your order.
Shipping and Delivery
We use an overnight courier service to deliver your order. The courier will attempt delivery twice, and then they will hold the parcel at their local depot for 5 days prior to returning it to us. They will leave a card with contact details so that you may arrange to collect the parcel from their depot or if possible arrange a redelivery. Once returned to us, redelivery from us will incur further charges.
It is the customer's responsibility to check for any damage that may have occurred during transit. You have 3 days from the time of delivery to report any damage to us. It is essential that you contact us within the 3 days, so that we can claim compensation from the courier company on your behalf, and manufacture and or reprint your order for you.
We endeavour to ship your item in the timescale stated above, however we do not guarantee this, If your order is damaged by us prior to shipping, we reserve the right to manufacture reprint. This may cause a delay in shipping. You will receive an email or phone call if there are any delays or problems with your order.
All products purchased from us are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such products pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Back Orders
If the frame size is not in stock, the frames will be manufactured and may take up to 7-10 working days.
Credit card security
When your order is placed at our website, all information given by you is encrypted using 256bit encryption. The credit card transaction takes place at our payment service providers secure site. We do not have any access to your credit or debit card details.
We currently use Sagepay and as our payment service provider. You do not need to have an account with Sagepay to use their services.
Guarantee
All of our products come with a 14 day no quibble guarantee. The guarantee covers defects in manufacturing; it does not cover colour reproduction.
As canvas is a natural product, slight imperfections may exist in the canvas print; this is beyond our control and is not covered by our guarantee.

Electronic Communications
You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you by e-mail satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
You consent to receive communications from us by e-mail or in writing. Every marketing email sent gives you the option to opt out of our database.
Remittance Terms
All products are manufactured and printed to order. Payment must be made in full prior to manufacture or printing unless you hold a credit account with us.

Refund Policy
Any refund that we have agreed in writing or email will be issued within 14 days of the refund agreement. Original carriage charges will not be refunded. The customer is responsible for all carriage charges in relation to the return of product to our premises, no refund will be given for these charges.
Colour Management
We have a strict policy not to adjust any colour settings or contrast / brightness settings, to any of our customer’s artwork.
The Colour settings and the type of your computer monitor that you use to view your image, will have an influence in the perception of how your image should look. You should be aware that unless your computer monitor's colour settings have been calibrated professionally, they may look different to the final print supplied by us. As we cannot guarantee the accuracy of your monitor, we will not accept colour reproduction including brightness or contrast as a valid reason for return.

Trade Accounts
Trade discounts are offered to professional photographers and other trade professionals, to obtain a trade discount you must meet the following criteria:
• You must own and operate a company or website which describes your services. Your company details and or contact details must clearly be displayed on your website.
• You accept that any file that is submitted to us is print ready; as such we will not undertake any image manipulation unless specifically asked for.
• You accept that we will print your file 'as is' and will not accept colour issues as a reason for complaint or return.
Credit Accounts
Credit accounts may be available for our trade customers. These accounts are based on an agreed credit limit per month. If the credit limit is reached before the end of the month, the customer is required to clear the outstanding balance prior to placing orders
Accounts must me applied for in writing and are often subject to establishing an account history with us before an account is agreed. You also agree to supply credit references and allow us to undertake any credit checks we deem appropriate.
All credit accounts are operated on a payment within 30 days of receipt of invoice basis. We reserve all title in the goods ordered until payment is received in full.
Late payment of invoices will result in the client's corporate credit account being limited. This will require all outstanding invoices becoming due for immediate payment and may impact on any further credit being issued or your credit account being withdrawn. GJ Plastics Ltd reserves the right to cancel any credit account without prior notice.
We reserve the right to hold shipment of further orders until payment of outstanding invoices has been received in full.
Modification and Severability
We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and this Terms of Use agreement at any time and in our sole discretion; therefore, you should review our policies, terms, and conditions each and every time you visit our website. Your continued use of the website after we make any such changes constitutes your binding acceptance of those changes. If any of the terms or conditions herein shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that term or condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining term or condition.
